Disney's Wide World of Sports Enthusiasts....
Earlier this past week Disney Wide World of Sports paid Valencia Community College's West Campus a visit. The purpose was to let people know who they are, that they exist, and how to participate.
What is a sports enthusiast? Disney Wide World of Sports says that they are volunteers who enable sporting event organizers to raise money for community charities.
Disney Wide World of Sports is looking for volunteers and participants for upcoming events, charities, fundraisers, etc. These type of events take place every year and Disney Wide World of Sports is always looking for volunteers.
Disney paid yet another visit to the campus on May 21 to give a brief presentation and information session to Valencia Community College students.
The presentation began with a few choice words from Disney Wide World of Sports. Words such as adventure, experience, passion, committment, exileration, heart, fun, pride, grace, respect, and glory were just a few of the qualities that this program wishes to be and achieve through old and new volunteers.
Lori Schaper, manager of community outreach and business training, said that the overall mantra for the theme of Disney's Wide World of Sports was simply "Elements for sports; Lessons for life."
Some events that will be taking place July through October are Tower of Terror 13k, Expedition Everest Challenge, Disney's Race for the Taste, and Athletes for a Cure Triathlon.

Live Event
By Ashley Gonzalez
New church invites new members and mothers to join in the fun on Mother's Day.
Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church, while large in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is relatively new to the Orlando area. It began as a small group of people and is growing by the minute.
On May 11 this small group of people held a larger than life ceremony to celebrate Mother's Day as well as new beginnings for their church.
There was a special blessing given to each mother by pastor Angel. New members were also announced and welcomed in the church.
The small church, having recently been remodeled, is sending a message that simply expresses that living life to the fullest while being an active member in God's Kingdom is the main goal. The focus is not on heaven or hell or where new members have been or are going. There is always room for new beginnings.
Pastor Angel, at one point in service, said "It is okay to mourn for mother's that could not be here with us today, in this room, but I know that she has never really left me."
Pastor Adaliz also stated, at the beginning of the service, "I thank the Lord for my wonderful family. There is a reason why we are all here today. There is no mistake. We were all called to be here and celebrate this day together. Amen."
Denise Gonzalez, a new member and mother, immediately following service said, "I like this church." There were tears in her eyes as she made the simple statement.
Everyone who attended the service had a good time. There were refreshments, food, cake and live music following the service. New members are always welcome.
